Mesa Verde in southwest Colorado is the landmark feature of Mesa Verde National Park. The skies are wonderfully dark here at night, and the Milky Way stretches from horizon to horizon. Sometimes, though, there are a few clouds, and while they obscure the stars, they add a certain magic and mystery to the mesa.
